EITA Award 2021 for GO! Atheneum Brakel

 

We are proud of winning the first European Innovative Teaching Award 2021 of the European Commission. You can follow the launch event here 

We were selected by EPOS, our national agency for the Flanders region and made a 30 second film to give impression on the innovation in our school since 2015. Erasmus+ programs and the possibility for job shadowing  had a significant impact on the changes from future classroom lab to distant learning and the use of innovative methods.

Presentation to the Expert council


Biology teacher Jelena Stojanović, who participated in the LTTA in Iceland, presented her results  learned to the presidents of the expert councils of Language, Economics, Law, Physical Education  and Social Sciences. 

They were introduced to the Lesson plan and the use of digital tools within the plan. The  presidents of the expert councils will present in their expert council the presented and motivate  their colleagues to apply some of the tools in their work in the following period.

Ιn school dissemination at the Greek school


 Greek partner school proceeded to in school dissemination after returning from the first training event of our KA2 Erasmus+ partnership,in Iceland.Students of all grades (14/10/2021 B class, 19/11/2021 C Class, 21/11/2021 A class ) attended participant teachers explaining about their educational experience in the hosting country.Some of the dissemination was chosen to be implemented during the Erasmus Days when students had also the chance to listen about opportunities Erasmus+ offers and how our school is involved so far.You can see the presentation created for in school dissemination here.

Etwinning workshop in the Greek school

 On the 7th of June 2021, teachers of the Greek school participated in an in school  workshop about eTwinning in order to be able to enroll themselves and enroll our students in the platform.They were informed about the role Twinspace platform could play in our partnership and how they could use this space to work with other teachers and share e-learning materials.
